Scammer invents names, personal information,
uses professional photos from magazines or
pictures of famous Ukrainian or Russian actresses.
Sometimes they use amateur photos of pretty
women. Marriage agencies refuse to work with
such scammers. Therefore this kind of scammers
place applications on free message boards,
free web directories. Once your e-mail is
received they start bombarding you by romantic
e-mails. Be sure your e-mailed will be answered
within 1 working day. You’ll read what you
want to read and you’ll hear what you want
to hear. Scammers exchange messages, sometimes
it can take over a year. Victim is seized
and scammers begin the next stage. Here are
few stages which are often used by scammers:
1. Very often scammers are going to the man
or a man should visit her soon. And then something
happened. They or their relatives get ill
and need an urgent operation. Here the victim
gets request for money. After money is sent,
the scammer disappears immediately.
2. Scammers invite victim to visit their
country and are ready to make all travel arrangements.
For example, to rent beautiful accommodation
where you are promised to live together during
your visit, to purchase railway tickets to
see romantic place were she was born etc.
Of course the lady needs money to make all
travel arrangements: to make deposit for accommodation
rental (it’s true. Apartments are usually
bookable once deposit is received), besides
Ukrainian railway tickets have to be purchased
few weeks before travel (it’s true). After
money is sent, the scammer disappears immediately.
3. Scammer informs you that she has fair
English and needs translation services. You
are offered to engage translator for insignificant
sum to help the lady to translate your letters.

Actually there are 1000 ways how to pull
money from victim. Therefore we do not recommend
to use message boards and free dating websites.
Marriage agencies reduce risk to be scammed
but if you deal with marriage agency it will
